Emeritus Faculty Captain: Dr. Rita Hubbard

Dear Colleague,

It is truly amazing how far Christopher Newport University has come in "Achieving Greatness" in all major areas, including reputation and campus growth. The latest jewel on the campus is the state-of-the-art Trible Library, critical to the core mission of our university.

I am exceedingly proud of this symbolic commitment to academic excellence and I am also proud of the many accomplishments, past and present, of our Emeritus Faculty. We were called early on to educate the next generation of citizens and we did so with significant intellectual muscle.

Now I am asking us all, you and me, to add to our legacy with generous contributions to the Annual Faculty and Staff Campaign. Please designate your gift as unrestricted or exercise your giving option for whatever department, activity, or scholarship that is important to you personally.

Note that the new H. Westcott Cunningham Endowed Memorial Scholarship has been added to your list of options. Whatever you choice, please give generously.
